Kwido for caregivers is an application from the company, Ideable Solutions. The Kwido platform allows to store and share health information about patients. Kwido for caregivers provides more autonomy in patients’ medical care. Indeed caregivers, nurses and the patient himself can easily integrate health information and share it with doctors to improve efficiency and prevent emergencies in nursing homes and homecare.

Ideable Solutions is a Spanish company, born in 2011, in Bilbao. Within the framework of the project ICT4SILVER, the idea is to get answers about these following subjects:

  • Measure the usability of this solution regarding the needs and work practices of French healthcare professionals
  • See how design and features of the product are used and appreciated by healthcare professionals
  • Collect and observe the impact of this technology in strategies, behavior of the healthcare professionals

The French pilot was organized in Autonom’Lab office, in Limoges with different health and care professsionals: Doctors, Nurses, Home Care Service, a Patient.

The Pilot consisted in 3 phases, during 2H30, the 26th of June 2018:

1/ We worked around the question of TELEMEDICINE. It was a brainstorming:

2/ We gave the application to the participants in 2 groups and let them use it without explanation. During this phase, we were observing them and noting their remarks. They also had a piece of paper on which they noticed what should be a telemedicine application for them: functionalities, for whom, for what, when.

3/ We worked on what they like, dislike (about the application) and which improvement they could suggest?
